Hello Sunday is set in a beautiful old building that began its life as an 18th century place of community connection as a Post Office.

Coffee lovers and owners Christopher, Yasmeen and Jonathan take great pleasure in bringing this unique and rare building as a place for community again. Enjoy the heart warming feeling of Sunday where we pause, rest and reflect, something you will be able to find all week long here.

The cafe also provides great food and coffee.

Great food selections and caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Cosy atmosphere.

    Originally a post office building, Hello Sunday has taken this historic building and turned into a place of coffee worship. Their flat white is my go to when I need a breather from shopping exploits in The Colombo - located just a hop, skip and a jump across the car park,

      This cafe is set in a peaceful old church hall. The decor reflects the original wood work, with wooden pews and tables. The staff are real treasures - happy to met the differences one might need - such as a lactose / soy free hot chocolate ( I bring my own ingredients ) There is always delicious homemade food here, hard to choose / want everything! - worth the trip down to Sydenham and never disappointed.

        A local favourite, Hello Sunday has been taking Christchurch by storm with their amazing breakfasts and excellent coffee. Head down to this Sydenham-based cafe and enjoy the beautiful setting (in an old church!) and lovely staff.

          Hello Sunday is a famous and very popular cafe and they’ve just opened evenings as a restaurant! Every three weeks (roughly) the menu will change so you can always expect a surprise. With locally sourced produce and ethically sourced meat, you belly and your consciousness will be happy.

            A great destination - the food is outstanding & the staff are very accommodating :-)

              Hello Sunday is renowned for its amazing brunches so it would be crazy to leave them off this list. The eggs benny is certainly a popular option - look out for changes on the menu which happen regularly over the year. Keep an eye out from when they open evenings too!
