Although Mike rang me at some crazy hour on a Saturday morning to arrange a time to qoute a job, he was soon forgiven when qouting a very reasonable price for what would be, a big job of removing 7 trees of varying heights. He did a fantastic job, he had taken obvious care of the surrounding plants and the hanging shell thingies that friends children had made me he had taken care to move them and place them on the deck away from falling debris. The site was tidy and the end result just superb! Well done Mike - I highly recommend his service, fantastic job, great price, superb result :)
Mike from High Maintenance was recommended to me by a colleague. I needed some work done on a rambling and unkempt garden which has been treated poorly by it's owners (who have no real idea of what they're supposed to do). I hooked up with Mike via phone and email. He quoted for the work we wanted, and despite being pretty busy, managed to fit us in at relatively short notice. Importantly Mike came round when he said he would, did the work he'd promised to do, and communicated effectively about what was going to happen, when, and how much it would cost. He also spent some time online with me dispensing his amusing and helpful homespun experienced wisdom on things to do and not to do. We were going to plant a new banana palm for example, and his advice was that for our purposes this wasn't going to be particularly practical, and that we didn't actually need to do extra planting. It would have been very easy to just take the work and get the money, but Mike gave us good advice instead. I'll happily use Mike again, and recommend him to others.

Mike has transformed my large (and untidy) garden area by taking out all the weeds, adding a generous amount of high quality mulch, and thinning out scrubby trees. The end result is a much more attractive garden space that is easier to look after. The work was carried out quickly and professionally, and Mike is a pleasure to deal with, and the pricing was very fair and competitive.
