We really enjoy a visit to this Farmers Market. There's a good selection of stalls in a lovely location. You can buy some delicious, reasonably priced goodies. And, if you can still fit anything in, the cafe nearby is worth a visit too. Not to mention the awesome childrens' playground. A good way to spend a few hours on a Sunday.
Went out to Hobsonville Point Farmers markets over the weekend and I have to say, I was a little disappointed. I had heard such great things about it and so my partner and I took the trip out to go check them out. But when we got there we were like "is this it?" they were a lot smaller than I imagined and also quite a bit smaller than other markets that we have been to in the past. Also a bit more pricier as well. I do have to say though the produce did look very fresh and tasty. It was a nice little drive out but Im not too sure we would go back out there again unless we were in the area.
It's a lovely Sunday morning trip out to Hobsonville Market... it's not the biggest nor the cheapest of Auckland's weekend markets, but there's a lovely atmosphere, most of the stalls are under cover, and there's loads of parking. Some of the more unusual stallholders include Georgian cheese, and some of the best Cornish pasties in NZ. Lovely spot for the kids as well.
