I love that I can buy fabric there for as cheap as a bottle of fizzy :D I also love their friendly attitudes.

    Taupo’s Hospice Shop is a total haven for secondhand kitchen stuff - trusty lasagna dishes, old pots and pans that are still totally usable, plates, glasses, champagne flutes - the works! It’s a wise shopping location for young ‘uns who are just breaking out into their first flat or home, or for the odd local looking to replace that glass serving dish their toddler smashed.

      You know when you’re hosting a dinner party and you suddenly you don’t have a dish large enough to serve up that lasagna you’re cooking? I’ve found that op shops are the best for this sort of last minute realisation. The Hospice Shop has saved me a few times in such a situation. I know have a fab collection of large pyrex dishes for any occasion.
