Hospices around the country raise money to help administer their philosophy of care to those who need help, making sure that people can make the most out of their lives. One of Hospices most effective methods of fundraising is through shops like New Plymouth Hospice Shop and those like it who accept donations of items and offer bargains with proceeds going towards supporting Hospice facilities. Volunteer staff give up their time to run the shop - so if you want to help out by volunteering or donating get in touch today.

A wide range of goods are stocked and are constantly rotated from books to clothing to furniture - You're sure to find something to catch your fancy. Next time you're in need of a bit of retail therapy, pop down to Hospice New Plymouth and make a difference while you shop.

Hospice is my favourite op shop by far; it is always packed with people, especially really early in the morning when everyone is trying to get the best deal! They always have a really good stock in the book department which is where I seem to gravitate towards when I visit. The ladies working behind the counter are always so lovely when they’re serving me and I think it’s their attitude that makes me want to come back the most!

I come to the Hospice Shop maybe once or twice a week, it's the busiest second hand shop around. My favourite section is the books and bric a brac, you never know what you're going to find in there. I love how the people that work there are all volunteers and the profits go towards a good cause.
