Great selection good service and friendly staff. Plus there’s a good section of different herbs and cooking products too

So lovely to have a grocer in the village.  Its so nice to be able to pop in, and have a browse.  We always get our milk there!  Great to see them stocking quite a bit of gluten free produce as well.

This place has ATMOSPHERE. A great range of fresh fruit & veg at very affordable prices - which I found surprising at first, as similar shops tend to have a considerable mark up. They also have a great range of European and Middle Eastern food products available.

Love this new find! I went there to buy strawberries and walked out with heaps of European treats! Lebkuchen and Black bread, German mustard YUM! The best part is that it didn't cost a fortune either! I bought the bread for $2.49 compare this with over $5 in supermarkets....wow

The produce here is top notch and the staff are nothing but friendly. I like the character of this shop and how it fits into Howick's image. I highly recommend everyone support this business!

I frequent this place because of the lovely people that run it and the range of fruit and veges and other lovely bits and pieces I can buy.

The Village Grocer proved to be a bright and cheerful grocers to step into on impulse on a dim and dismal afternoon. The colourful fresh produce is attractively displayed in neat orderly groups, along with an assortment of powders, nuts and dried fruit to jazz up your shopping basket. The produce is well priced and the staff polite and helpful, so much so that they were willing to check in the back for slightly older bananas at a discount to be used for a banana cake! We also picked up some BBQ corn nuts (if you don't know what these are drop by and pick up a pack, they're insanely moreish!) and a bag of perfect Persimmons for just $1.95! Well worth a visit and we might even take a trip out to Howick Village just to pop in again!
