Great food at a good price

Perfect place for a date. Lovely atmosphere. Really great prices

I went here on my first date with my partner and it was just perfect. The food was fresh and delicious and the space was big enough that even though the tables were full you didnt feel like you were sitting on top of everyone else and you could easily chat away. It has a great central location and I really like how the tables are at the back of the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helped us decide on some great food. I definitely recommend this place as it was something fun and well priced for a lovely night out. I will remember it for ever as were we had our first date and it only has good memories for me.

Has real Japanese style food with actual Japanese staff / chefs. Rather large but never busy so it is nice to be able to sit down and talk to who your are with. Good Selection of food and nice Japanese style Desserts.

Came here for the first time for dinner with a bunch of friends on a Saturday night. Ordered the beef tataki, mixed sashimi, crumbed fish, seafood okonomiyaki (japanese pancake) and agedashi tofu. Mostly great, but the beef tataki was sliced a bit too thick (I'm used to the thin delicate kind), and I didn't really enjoy the seafood okonomiyaki cos it seemed as if it had seafood mix type filling (maybe the pork one would be better). But overall it was enjoyable for a big group byo dinner and the bill came to an awesome $26ish (when split between us all).

Talk about tasty, certainly delightful to this European's palette and at $14 pretty good value also. Must go back and try the rest of the menu. Pretty convenient for Anzac Ave and nearby locations and pretty quiet inside for conversation.

I had  bought a voucher for Japa Deli from one of the daily deal sites and after looking at the menu online and seeing how low the prices were I wasn't really expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The place was nicely decorated and spacious and the food was excellent, particularly the sushi rolls. I would definitely come back here again if I wanted excellent Japanese food on a budget.

Japa Deli does the best prawn tempura I have ever tried. They taste fresh, aren't greasy, and are 100% delicious - I couldn't recommend them enough. The staff there are also really nice and really friendly, and the decor made me feel as though I was back in Japan. I love this place, and will definitely frequent it as much as I possibly can.
