We can only change the way business is done globally if we take responsibility as consumers for supporting those brands that look after our planet. I love the fact that Kate Sylvester is part of the Child Labour Free programme. Her clothes are beautifully tailored and I’m more than happy to pay a good price to know that the clothes I wear are looking after both the people who made them and our planet. Child Labour Free is a NZ-led initiative that’s ensuring responsible fashion becomes the norm around the globe. That’s why I support Kate Sylvester and am proud to wear her label.

          This store is pristine, and I LOVE KS. She is my favourite New Zealand designer and although the prices are high, the pieces last and last. Paying for quality means less regret and impulse purchasing. That jacket you had to put on layby and cost half a week's paycheck will last you 10 years.

            Kate Sylvester’s design is great Kiwi fashion. It’s elegant and playful and what she does with silk is exquisite. Fab for workwear and classy frocks.

              Kate Sylvester in Ponsonby offers a relaxing atmosphere in which to browse the racks of signature looks. The eggshell blue walls offset the clothing beautifully as well as adding a calming air. This season there are Okinawa jackets embroidered with foxes and full length cheongsam style dresses with cascading flowers and, as always, Kate’s great lingerie and edgy leather pieces.
