The Kerikeri Farmers' Market attracts growers and producers from all over Northland. The stallholder must be either the owner of the business or someone who is involved in producing the food being offered for sale. Stallholders enjoy and take pride in talking directly with the end user of their product - not only can you be assured that the information that you are given about the product is accurate and informative, but you can purchase in the knowledge that the food is as fresh as it can be, often harvested or made on market day.

Everyone in town comes here on a sat morning, be it for fresh produce, trinkets, live music or fresh food! So if you're new in town or passing through, come and check this place out. It's definitely worth the look, even if you only leave having tasted it's famous mussel fritters, or delicious won-tons. My favorite thing to buy is one the home made steak and cheese pies, classically kiwi and genuinely worth it.

If you’re wondering where everyone is on a Saturday morning in Kerikeri. They’re probably hording towards the Kerikeri Farmers Markets! It’s my favorite thing to do whenever I’m around this neck of the woods. As it’s got an awesome range of hot & cold food to go, live music, arts & crafts, produce and best of all it’s all local. If you ever find yourself heading to these farmers markets, be sure to try the mussel fritters with locally made sweet chili sauce!

This bustling market is laden with treats and tasty things for lunch. Every stall seems to be bursting with freshness. For lunch on the go I recommend getting one of the roast vege and lamb pita breads to nibble. Otherwise if you’re feeling like a real nutrient-bomb get some of the fresh vegies and cook up your own produce feast. Last week I bought baby carrots, limes, coriander, chilli and broccoli to make an epic asian lunch with - yum!

If you’re at all like me, it’s about now you’ll feel inspired to pack more fresh fruit and vegetables into your day. Kerikeri Farmer’s Market, one of the largest in the country, is the ideal place to get your fill of the juiciest, crunchiest produce, and makes a lovely Sunday morning of strolling through the stalls, sampling the treats and inevitably having a tough time of choosing just which tasty breakfast option is the one for you.
