We love visiting La Boulange on Jervois Road and Lorne Street for filled baguettes, fresh pastries, great coffee and French style, but our favourite branch of the super cute cafe is in The Department Store in Takapuna. Definitely one of the North Shore’s best options on the cafe front, it is airy and relaxed as well as tantalisingly close to many a retail attraction like Nature Baby, Karen Walker and Black Box boutique. Dangerous and very, very good.

Pastries and coffee, this cute little cafe on Jervois Rd takes me back to the streets of Paris.

This is a beautifully looking cafe with amazing odors wofting out the door. The staff are always quick and kind, The food is so tasty and fulling. The food is quite pricey, but for the time and effort put into each item it is well worth it. The rolls have so much filling and are packed with flavour. Well worth a trip to this fantastic little cafe.

Such a treat of a cafe. Small but a great selection of traditional French pastries and deli goods as well. Great coffee and pain au chocolat straight from France. So good!

Stopped by La Boulange for lunch today. Fresh french bread and great coffee!  Look forward to my next visit :) Aspire Advisors Growing & Protecting Your Wealth

The filled rolls in here look amazing - I can’t wait to try them (current pregnant status prevents me from doing so). If they’ve sold out of bread they can bake a loaf or a baguette for you with 15mins notice. Ring ahead to check. Great little pastries and the (Atomic) coffee is very good also. They stock a delicious bottled lemonade drink too that I can’t resist whenever I pop in.

When it comes to bread and pastries, you can't top the French! And La Boulange serves the real deal, thanks to proprietor Matt, who hails from France. They have a couple of small tables if you want to eat in but if you're feeding a crowd you'll need to takeaway. Coffee and other grocery items sold too.
