This is a great way to spend a lazy Sunday morning. The French markets are always bursting with people and delicious sights and smells. You can wander through sampling freshly made artisan food from the different booths or sit down to enjoy coffee and crepes. When you’re done browsing, head home with a bag of homemade bread and gourmet cheese for later.

A lovely weekend activity. You can always find some delicious fresh goodies. Best enjoyed with good company.

Oh La Cigale, how desirable you are with your sexy name and your effortless charm. Oh and your pastries! Everyone knows how amazing your pastries are, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a line so long at a market before. Sometimes you sell out of my favourite sweet treat the trusty pan au chocolate but I’ve come to realise that this is not the end of the world because even the very last pastry left behind fulfills my every sweet desire.

Love everything French? Yes! Well I like your style. There is nothing more enjoyable on a Saturday or Sunday morning than to purchase freshly baked aromatic bread, a serving of Paella (which doesn’t always make it all the way home!), a selection a delicious French cheeses from the La Cigale Fromagerie and a number of other fabulous products and produce which make their way into your market bag. Treat yourself to this French Market place!

The french market is pretty small, but packs a punch. The produce there is always fresh and crisp and amazing, and they have lots of little specialty stalls… amazing cannolis, hummus, smoothies… it’s pretty classy for a farmer’s market but the offerings are still totally affordable.

I would't really say this is a true French market but I can't take away that the food and atmosphere is great...and thats even on a miserable rainy day. The bakery food is fresh and straight out of the oven, providing some divine tastes, you have fresh market produce at your disposal, different foods flooding the market from different vicinities of the world and home grown produce straight from the source...what more would you want from a weekend market.

There is no better way to spend a weekend morning than wandering La Cigale with a coffee in hand deciding which fresh out of the oven pastry to try. I can never seem to go past the delicious almond croissants, they are so light and happy-making. Yummy juices, paella, crepes, vege market - there really is something for everyone. A perfect way to wile away a lazy morning.

Ooh La La! Fantastically french-style produce with a certain 'je-ne-sais-quoi' blended in this most French of market with the freshest produce from fruits to fromage! Du pain, du vin et du boursin...

Fresh warm croissants, pastry and bread, you can't go wrong no matter what you pick.

This entire market is all about good wholesome healthy food and it's a nice way to meet up with the kids and friends and graze on all the delicious offerings, mostly inorganically grown and bulging with sweetness and taste. I love how you can buy a bit of this and a bit of that and find a table somewhere and then enjoy
