Love the pastries and cakes at La Couronne.

I love the cakes and pastries from La Couronne. We often pick up a few buns and pastries while walking down Lorne Street during the evenings. Its quite reasonably priced and for that price you get high quality of cakes and pastries that will melt in your mouth.

Macaroons have always enjoyed squeals and adoring glances from the female population, since their inception. I am no exception, I have fallen under the macaroon spell. Forking out what seems like more than what I should, to taste these. I chose the sesame one and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't deadly sweet. The sesame fragrance permeated my mouth as I bit into the crunchy yet chewy little gems. For the few seconds it took to devour, it was worth it.

This shop also have wide range of Taiwanese bum and traditional sweets!! Should totally give a try!!

The Green Tea sponge cake was very moist and delicious. The red bean between the sponge roll added the extra sweetness. Overall, a definite place to return to for some wide range of delicious cakes for all occasions.

Bought a blackforest cake from here a month ago.it was super yummy.sadly it melts too quick but was the best cake i have had in a while :)

...to buy cakes and pastries. The staff is very helpful and the prices are reasonable for the quality of great taste.

I can never resist visiting this place whenever I'm in the area! Mouth-watering range of cakes and treats, very hard not to walk out without buying a few things!

This is the cutest shop on Lorne Street without a doubt! The shop its self is huge, so its great to browse around looking at all the delectable treats on offer. The prices aren't too crazy and I love how its all individuality wrapped. They also have a selection of items within the front display. Great for a sweet treat on the run.

I love this place! My favs are the red bean buns and green tea cake. The cake and treats in the case all have a french touch. The store looks amazing and the staff are very helpful. You can order cakes as well

A little home outside of Asia, this little cake/bakery store has a wide range of traditional bakery treats as well as foods with a touch of western style. They have the usual tiger skin cake roll, the taro buns, as well as European desserts, such as chocolate mousse, mini patisserie, and other chilled treats. The foods are a little on the pricier side compared to other Asian bakeries, but its well worth the price. Only downside is they use mock cream for everything, instead of fresh cream, which makes it seem a little cheap.
