This country bar and Restaurant can cater for any man, woman or child, who want a real piece of steak. Always cooked to how you like it. Mooing on your plate. Not to expense but worth every cent you spend there. don't think you'll need a side because that beast is going to fill you. Great service. waitresses have a awesome sense of humour.

This is the place of the "pasta of awesomeness" as it has been dubbed by my family, they do pretty damn good pizzas too! Totally worth moving to Wellsford for, and the staff are great!

This is one of the "locals" for my wife and I. The pizzas made here are absolutely amazing. Don't be caught out thinking you will need more than 1 pizza for 2 or more of you. they are jam packed with ingredients. They are also more than happy to take off items if you don't want them, so very customizable! Highly recommended!

Adverse to 'debnjosh' (by the way it's "inedible" not "ineatible"), we found La Padella to be exceptional all round. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the warm decor and the level of professionalism from floor staff and the fantastic meals encompassed a truly rewarding experience, distinguishing La Padella from other amateur's in the hospitality field. Having travelled from Bluff all the way through beautiful NZ, heading towards Spirits Bay, my wife, my son & myself had induldged in some of the freshest cuisine that this great country has to offer, prepared by great Chefs. La Padella, as far as we are concerned was the jewel in the NZ crown. We shared an entree of Calamari, which was to die for, tender beyond belief. My wife, a pasta fan had the Scotch, Bacon & Mushroom Pappardelle, my son a chicken fan had the Chicken Schnitzel 'w Fries / Sour cream & Chive sce, whilst I had my favourite, Scotch Fillet 'w Roasted Vegies. gourmet Potaotes & homemade Mushroom sce. I could not fault the service, the meals or the value for money. As my wife and son perused the dessert menu, I thought, surely there's no room, to my surprise, none of us were prepared to turn down the sumptuous delights that awaited. We shared 3 desserts; Baked Lemon Tart  Apple & Raspberry Crumble Chocolate Brownie As an Australian, and having travelled the world over, the meals that my family and I had at La Padella were meritorious, showing that the Chef/Owners must have had a great learning background. When experiences are this rewarding, I often want to meet the people that have made it so, and we were delighted to meet Amanda, who had trained at Skycity Auckland as a Patisserie Chef.  My son let out a resounding yell "choice"!, actually,it was the 'choicest' meal he'd had all trip. We'll definately return, even if it is to just enjoy this amazing restaurant tucked away up north in Wellsford. To the team, keep up the great work...
