Wellington has something like 40 cafes for every person so it seems impossible to pick a favourite. Still, lava cafe has to be up there for me. Good coffee and a fun spot to watch people walk by, going about their day in central Wellington. Love.

    Lava does a great and cheap morning breakfast special which is brilliant value and has the best home made hash browns I have ever tasted.  All their food is really yummy and service is always with a smile.

      Great hot drink menu and amazing looking cabinet food
