Le Chat Noir is an authentic French creperie and cafe located in the Tauranga suburb of Greerton. With an extensive menu of delicious sweet and savoury crepes available, they also sell baguettes, ciabatta sandwiches and an irresistible range of home baked French-style patisseries, cakes and pastries.

Fully licenced, there are a selection of French and New Zealand beverages on offer including beer, wine, cider, champagne and French bubbly.

Open daily for breakfast and lunch or for private function dinners, call in for one of their famous iced chocolates.

More known for its crepes this little piece of France also makes a delicious soup. The Black Cat has loads of character and a hot soup on the go. The other day it was sweet corn and bacon.

    This French cafe is a surprising little find in the heart of suburbia. Just off the main street in Greerton it has plenty of outdoor seating and makes a great spot to stop between shops. The first owner was a Frenchman who knew a good coffee when he drank one, and it seems the reputation has been upheld. They also make amazing French crepes.

      Crepe's are scrumptious!

        A great little café in Greerton Village, full of character with a very French flavour. In true Gallic style try the crepes. The coffee is highly recommended as is the food – up with the best.
