Obviously I'm a member here and I love it! Suuper convenient location for me, but only cause I can walk here. They do have parking available but it does take you a little while to figure out the map and learn where you can and can't park and at what times. The classes are awesome and they have a really cool range from high cardio RPM, Step to Yoga and Body Balance. Inside is a nutrition supplements store, nike clothing store and a cafe.
I have checked it out a couple of times. Last time I went, I felt like I was at Paddington train station. The good thing about pre-choreagraphed classes is that you know what you get and it ensures a certain quality of the classes. But you can tell that it's not the instructors' own creation and they are not flexible enough to adjust to the people in the class, which you get at a smaller gym. The instructor becomes a performer and animator on the stage (which they are very good in!), but there is no way of checking and helping members. I saw quite a lot of mistakes, which with added weights could lead to damages. I would recommend a second instructor just walking around and ensuring people really get a benefit from the class - and only that.
There is a reason why Les Mills has survived so long. This is the best gym in town - all the best classes and lots of them happening, great equipment with helpful instructors should you need then. If it had a pool then it would be the perfect gym. But you cant really complain about that! Worth the fees to join up and get fit!
