Mairangi Bay

Bit of a smaller beach but sufficient sand and water. Grass area with a few seats and shade. Bathrooms to the side and a small building (life savers possibly?). Great food shops towards the main road. Nice beach

I love mairangi bay because of the yummy cafes and restaurants along the main road. But I really enjoy it because of the pathway running along from the beach to the bay along. It is perfect for running and in the weekends My wife and I are able to push our dauhter in her push chair. It is always really busy because it is just such a nice walk- especially when the wether is nice.

Mairangi bay is a cute little village with plenty of cafes and shops to keep you busy. My favorite parth though is the playground, as it is fully fened and has little paths perfect for little bikes. There are also picnic benched so it is a great place to bring food and enjoy a snack while the kids play. Ive come here many times with my coffee group and will keep coming as it is always very relaxing!
