If there is an iconic landmark of the area this is it! Such a beautiful surrounding, the gorge and the river right in the middle of the ranges. There are great bush walks so you can get an even better view and a look out point to take some amazing photos from!

    If you are a tourist to the Manawatu the gorge is a must see. There is nothing else in the country like it. The river flows right in the middle of the ranges and the surroundings are just spectacular. You can take one of the bush walks or just drive through and stop to take a picture.
