My step dad has read the Manawatu Standard everyday I have known him. Even though we now have our news online, there's something to be said about holding a real paper. I always remember not being allowed to read it until he had finished it and trying to do the word puzzles! I even won their letter to the editor competition when I was 12, my mum still has the clippings!
