I live in Mangere Bridge and love the local stores and cafes. My husband and I bike down to the Sunday Markets, which are on till 1pm. By our fresh bread and cheese, and the odd extra treat - pop it in my basket and we bike home but not before getting a coffee from Ruby Red http://www.localist.co.nz/l/wmjkbg and dropping DVD back to United Video! http://www.localist.co.nz/l/mdijdd Wonderful friendly local village, we love bumping into people we know also enjoying this village!

    I've lived in M Bridge most of my life and i can definitely say it is the cutest little village in Auckland. It is nicely kept, hardly any rubbish around and well taken care of hanging baskets outside each shop along the main road. The fairy lights wrapped around the trees lining Coronation Rd come to life at night bringing a new atmosphere for people to enjoy while out having dinner. There are so many good spots for food, like the new Coronation restaurant and many decent cafes, bakeries, fish n chipperies, you name it. The shops in Mangere Bridge village provide many different services so you can definitely run some errands while enjoying morning tea at a cafe. Such a great place!
