Fantastic place, great service and good food.We picked a sunny winters morning and sat outside, but were never forgotten.Had average good omelette for breakfast with not so good coffee. But Fabulous hot chocolate! Bacon was a little bit too crispy but nice, friendly service ! Was so tempted by the sweet goodies in the cabinet, we took a couple of slices away for afters.
They say that it’s hard to find a good cup of coffee anymore because everyone is selling it on every street corner. And while that does seem to be the case more and more, there are good places to find espresso heaven and cool atmosphere. I’ve found Marcellos and I"m hooked. They reasons you should go 1. really terrific coffee 2. a full menu of great food 3. clean and cool interior 4.great facebook page! lots of info 5. staff makes you feel right at home, relaxed and helpful
Love the coffee from this cafe, consistently good, best coffee in Auckland! Great cakes made by Marcello his cup cakes are sooooo cute. The food is great, the chef does some great stuff and seems to be able to manage in a small kitchen. The staff are really friendly, always smilling chatty and Marcello makes you feel like you are really important and special which you know he is like that with everyone but it's still great when the attention is on you! Looking forward to my caffein hit!
I don't think you could get any friendlier than these guys! It doesn't matter what you want or not what, they seem to try to cater for Everyone. The food is pretty damn good, very tasty indeed. Coffee is right up there and the service is top notch. Easily able to go again and again as you just don't get bored of the friendly smiles and tasty foods!!!!
This cafe was a delightful surprise and the best cafe I have been to in a long time! The pizza was just to die for – my friend had the smoked salmon and capers pizza while I had the smoked chicken. I ate that whole thin crust pizza, savouring every mouthful, and I felt completely satisfied (but not stuffed full) at the end. The hot chocolate was devine and the staff were so friendly and helpful they really just completed the outing. I will definitely be back there again…and again!
