Word of mouth really does work!! Someone recommended Birgette to me and all I can say is that I will be going back!  Birgette listened to what I was after, she helped with styling tips and product knowledge.. stoked with my new hair-do and so handy to have a great quality hair cut in a modern salon locally from a top notch stylist at a fraction of the cost of a big salon.

Had a wonderful haircut and colour this morning. Birgette is lovely and she did a fantastic job on my hair. Will definitely be back!

Birgette cut my hair for a special party and I had so many wonderful comment on the night about how good it looked! Fantastic service as usual and just knows what to do with your hair :)

Not only does Birgette know hair, she's a stylist with lots of heart .. !!  Took a punt via localist recommendations and it was worth it.  Gave me a great haircut & style and her lovely 'chairside' manner is something you just don't get in big, expensive salons these days.  Def recommend a visit!

So amazing! Have not had my hair cut for so long because of other hairdressers but Brigette is lovely, she actually listens to the type of style you want and does a great job - I am so happy with my hair and the prices are so affordable. Def my new hairdresser!

Birgette is great! I've had so many bad 'first times' with salons, but McCarthys was awesome. Excellent service, well priced, makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in, and Birgette is friendly and good at what she does. After my first cut, I went to a family function and the compliments rolled in - I've passed on Birgettes details to friends and they love her too.

Wow!  I have only been to this hairdressers once, and already I am calling her "my hairdresser" as she made such an awesome job of my hair, and the cut is one of the best I have ever had.  I can't wait to go back and get my colour done, and another haircut.  It is so great when you get a hairdresser who actually listens to what you are saying, and is so helpful with recommendations!

I have only been to this hairdresser once... and I was totally thrilled with the service, and the cut is the most amazing one I have ever had!!  We are still trying to get my style sorted, and waiting for my hair to grow a bit more, but still Birgette managed to make my haircut look really good, and so many people have remarked what a great cut I have.   I can't wait to go back for my colour and follow-up cut, and talk about other services as well.  Birgette is a lovely person, and it is a delight having your hair done by her.
