Thankyou Bridgette, the makeover you gave me last week was amazing, my new hairstyle has made me feel really good about myself, haven't felt that in ages so I'm so happy I have discovered you, highly recommended, fabulous colour,and you cut it exactly the way I'd asked you to, many thanks will be back for sure.

Birgette has been cutting my hair for the last 2 years, and i have not dared to go elsewhere. I get a dry cut because it is more convenient for me, i dont know how she does it, even with a dry cut i leave feeling like brand new :) Thanks heaps x

Birgette @ McCarthys hair is an amazing hair dresser!! I walked out feeling like a million dollars.. What I had asked for, I was given that and more... AND at an amazing price!! I have been to sooo many hairdressers and have never been completely satisfied... But Birgette gave me the complete satisfaction I was looking for! SO HAPPY :) Will DEFINITELY be my new regular :) 

I have been to Hair for a Reason a couple of times now and will continue to go back. The salon is a cute, little place in Te Atatu South. Brigette is friendly and professional.  She asks what you want and then delivers with a good quality haircut at a reasonable price.  Brilliant! I'm glad that I found Hair for a Reason.

I had the pleasure of having Birgette do my bridal hair and make up for my wedding last week.  She did a fantastic job !!  Both myself and my bridesmaid were extremely happy with both our hair and make up.  She listened to what we were after in regards to our individual looks and executed them both perfectly !!  She created a ' timeless ' look for me on my special day that I will forever be happy to look back on in years to come.  I have and will continue to recommend Birgette to anyone, especially to anyone getting married and after someone to do their hair and make-up.  Quality service at an affordable price :)

I was looking for a new hairdresser out west and the same day I got a flyer in the letterbox and walla I have a great new hairdresser.  I have been going to Birguette for nearly a year and have recommended her to my daughter and friends.  She is very accomodating and will always fit me in at short notice.  It is an enjoyable experience, made to feel comfortable and lot's of friendly discussions make the time fly by.  I am always happy with the cut and colours.  Would definitely recommend this salon!

Thank goodness!!..Finally someone who can cut hair the way you want! Thanx soooo much B plz dnt go anywhere....AND the makeup is fantastic!! GIRLS AND GUYS YOU GOTTA SEE BIRGETTE! After 1 session with her you wont want anyone else to cut your hair or do your makeup.

Hi heard about this place through a referral from a friend..She's actually never used her but knew about this place through flyer. I was her guinea pig :) but I am so glad I tried her. She is very welcoming, provides excellent service and care and good advise too. Makes you definitely want to go back. Love her little business, very trendy looking and is very dedicating in her job. Aims to provide the best service for her clients. I am definitely going to be a regular customer :o) I highly recommend this place to all.
