Meccano amuse me as back in the day their main man for modelling their snazzy numbers, was Sheldon from Blindspott. I remember wagging school for a day to go and beg the Meccano owners if we could please have the giant cardboard stand up of Sheldon, for our bedrooms. We were tongue wagging teens then and regardless of the model, the gears at Meccano haven't stopped us oogling the guys!
