I have always been with Mercury Energy till last year when we switched to Genesis Energy due to a deal Genesis had with Panasonic Heat pumps around that time. As we were planning to install Panasonic Heat pumps in our new home we switched to Genesis to avail of the seemingly good financial benefit - which was almost a grand. Well, that didn't last long! Our first month's bill with Genesis was so exorbitant that I called them and complained. Within around 3 months, according to Genesis billing, we had used up our credit much to my surprise. I have recently switched back to Mercury Energy and to my utter delight my bills are almost half of what I was paying Genesis. Mercury Energy has always been a great electricity provider. Go Mercury.....Thank you for being a fantastic and an affordable Electricity provider!!
I like my power company, always have. Generally the power is stable and any issues are resolved very quickly. this year they offered me a deal to stay on the same rate for the next 3 years. I don't normally like to fix in to things like that but after their no pressure offer and a lot of research. I decided to take it up. My power is still expensive but it won't go up for 3 years. Sounded ok to me.
