Mexico Auckland Central

One of our favourite places to wind up an evening out is Mexico in Britomart, where the service is always hot, the margaritas ice cold and the tacos always top notch. They are open til late and serve drinks as tasty as their food options, with particular must haves like the Mexico Fried Chicken, Three Cheese Quesadilla and Do It Yourself Guacamole usually still in stock even after a busy night. We love you Mexico!

I would love Mexico for the Frida Kahlo pictures all over the bathroom walls alone, but you'll be pleased to hear that's not all that's fantastic about it. The food's next level great, and the staff are friendly too (as you can see from this pic!) There's often a wait for a table at night, which is when the tequila bar out back gets handy.

Came here for a birthday lunch after wanting to come for a long time, but often found queues coming out the door.  I really enjoyed the tasty food and enjoyed the sangria too!  The decor is great though it can be a bit noisy.  Will definitely come back for more tacos! 

Winter is a gloomy season, so why not get the hell out of here and head to Mexico. Mexico, the restaurant that is, serves some of the best South American fare this side of the Atlantic from their Britomart and Takapuna locations  It’s hard to go past the salsa with house made corn chips, the prawn soft shell tacos and the Mexican fried chicken all accompanied by a black plum margarita (made for sharing). The friendly staff and warm interiors will be sure to brighten up your day.

I love this place. Bring back the guac though!
