Mission Bay

I love Mission Bay. You get it all - beach, bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and movies. So much to do - swim, bbq, picnic, bike rides, rollerblades, walk, run, sun and fun! And if you want to chill and relax it's the place to be.

I love coming here to Mission Bay. My family can take a stroll along the beach and work up an appetite at one of the many choices of eateries nearby. #plantae

Love going to Mission Bay with the kids... Grabing some fish and chips or an ice cream... And letting the kids play on the playground or chill out on the beach. Also it's a great place to take the 'Mrs' on date night-she loves it.

Mission Bay is the ultimate date destination - there’s ice cream kiosks where you can be real cute and choose your different flavours and ingredients, there’s burger joints, multiple restaurants for you to recreate Lady and the Tramp at Portofino’s, an amazing beach……… Trust me boys if you took a lady here with a blanket and a picnic she would be swooning all over the place for you. Extra points if you set it up in close proximity to the water fountain, extra extra points if it is at night when it has the pretty lights shining on it. She will be putty in your hands. Thank me later.

A popular hang out and destination for roller-blade skaters, cyclists, joggers, walkers and swimmers. Most swim in the sea, but some cool off in the art deco fountain which has been appreciated for over a century. Mission Bay at night, however, is a wonderful spot for a romantic picnic - or fish and chips and gazing at the city lights.
