Mitre 10 Mega Henderson

Mitre 10 Mega regularly hold Ladies Nights which are awesome fun. I went with a friend of mine and they let you trial the products and show you how to use then properly. It was so much fun, I was even shown how to create a key holder by cutting the wood into the shape of a car (I choose the car shape, it could also have been a flower), I needed a bit of help with this as my hands aren't the most steady, then I sanded the edges til they were smooth, then I had to drill 2 holes in it to it could be attached to a wall and then I attached 4 hooks for the keeys to hang on - I think I did a great job and it was awesome that I had something that I could take home to show my husband. At the end of the night they have an auction which includes some great items, I got a bit carried away with the atmosphere and ended winning a drill set (Whoops, oh well, my husband uses it). The best part about the night was that it was all completely free - aside from the drill I bought in the auction.

Lots of choices for anything that you want to buy, not very expensive and you get quality stuff. The staff too are extremely helpful if you need advice on anything.

It would be a rare weekend that we don't end up down at Mitre 10 Mega on Lincoln Road!  They have everything we need for around the house, and while hubby is scouring the aisles inside, I'm usually out in the gorgeous garden centre pouring over their huge array of indoor & outdoor plants. The staff are super helpful, and they always seem to have something that will solve our problem or do the job. Our wee girl loves the fact they have an indoor playground to keep her entertained while we shop.

If you have time to burn… Come here and get yourself lost in amongst the huge aisles of hardware, tools, appliances and check out the garden centre!! A place for all ya projects. I got some nice pots and a few herb plants. Must say it is an impressive massive store, even if I did get lost !

Always plenty of staff walking around to help customers, good customer service.  Employees always helpful.

Now that the temperature has dropped, found a great selection of heating appliances to choose from at different price points.

Mitre 10 Mega Henderson is our local hardware store but we would go out of our way if we didn't live so close. The staff in the aisles are always helpful, the gentleman in bathroomware especially so, the toasties and coffee at the cafe are yum and we can always find what we need.

Mitre Ten Mega in Henderson is awesome. They have an excellent gardening section, a cafe in store, and a wonderful playground for the kids to play in whilst you shop. A really wide range of products, and all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable. Lots of car parking, trolleys. Just one awesome shop.

Although Mitre 10 is a hardware outfit, I enjoy their great garden centre in the Henderson Branch. A wide variety of plants, plus landscaping, potting and garden care accessories means I can browse happily for ages, or find the supply I need. And if I do have any trouble finding something I am specifically looking for, the friendly helpful staff will do their best to help me locate it, or suggest other places where I might be able to find it. Always a pleasure.
