You can alway rely on Monsoon Poon for a delicious dinner! With such a large interior you're also always garunteed a table. The vibe in the restaurant is great and the beautiful colours of herbs and spices seen from the open kitchen really bring you meal to life. My favourite thing about going to Monsoon Poon is getting the staff choice cocktail, always a good surprise, and I have now tried some seriously different cocktails in my time!

    Monsoon Poon is one of my favourite restaurants in Welly. The food is always served so quickly and every dish is delicious! I love the atmosphere and decor as well. Staff are always helpful and friendly! #shoutme

      Can't get enough of this place! I love the ambiance & delicious fusion of asian combinations to choose from...feels like you've been transported to asia with all the wonderful spicy smells, hustle & bustle of a market place right in the centre of Wellington. A great place to catch up with friends.

          Just love this place! Every year I look forward to the tasting platter for Wellington on a Plate, because I can never choose what to order from the menu on a normal night!! The mint biscuit cocktails are a must try too

            25 spice curry last night, signed up some brothers for $30 unlimited firecracker chicken night on the 1st Monday in the month...let the battle begin!

              Wow.  It's hot!!  You need to be brave to eat this, but man it's awesome!!

                Different strokes for different folks!! Food, cocktails and beer!! Really amazing food here at monsoon poon - shaking beef really did shake my world - great atmosphere here to have with a large group or just with the middy. They have a huge function room hidden out the back which would be ideal for a Christmas function.

                  This place serves up the most freshest cuisine from all walks of the globe! Amazing!!!!
