Great wee movie theater. Lovely atmosphere.

    This was date night with hubby after work. While watching the movie, hubby tucked into the pizza, devouring it all up as he was very hungry. It was a nice change from the usual icecream at the movies :)

      I love coming here to the Monterey Cinemas at Howick. The staff are friendly and watching the movie is very comfortable.

        Great theatre to watch a movie, have a glass of wine, or a coffee and ice cream. Comfy seats, un-crowded and good movies. Love going to the movies here. #karenmurrell

            Fabulous theatre

              Super convenient and a bit more premium than the 'chains', we really love going to the Monterey. It was actually a lot bigger than I expected, with a selection of theatres and a choice of all the mainstream, plus more eclectic and varied offerings that you don't get elsewhere. The quality of screening is really impressive we've started sitting closer to the screen as the image is so good! A real asset to living in Howick.

                It's the friendliest cinema around. Small and cosy with great movie's on offer.

                    I love how this place is different to the other cinemas in that it really reflects the history of its area. They show some wonderful films and offer a great way to head out for a nice trip with out having to go too far.
