Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants real authentic food! Wish this family all the best. Such amazing customer service. They make everything on the premises and bake their own bread as well as homemade sauces.moroccan tagines and moroccan chicken were my fave! New lynn is very lucky to have such a great place to eat in! Prices are great too.

I recently tried Moroccan Sahara at New Lynn, the two month old authentic Moroccan cuisine run by a Moroccan family. I wanted to make sure that I don’t end up in another Kebab takeaway. To my surprise, these folks bake their own pita bread (much different from what you would have at takeaway chains) and their marinated chicken or lamb is quite juicy along with fresh cut tomatoes and cilantros. The next time, I will try their Mandi (steamed flavoured Basmati rice with marinated chicken or lamb). I wish the family the best and hopefully we get more authentic cuisines like these in dear Auckland.
