I can’t lie, I thought I was going to be bored at MOTAT, but I was so wrong - there is so much interesting stuff to see! The collection of old Kiwiana, the old schoolhouse and the history of tea were highlights, and the mirror maze is just as much fun for grown up kids as it is for little ones.

Great to take the grandchildren

I love going back in time with each visit to MOTAT. It’s the perfect place to take the family for both fun and learning. From groping your way through textile tunnels to chugging along the tram track in a vintage carriage, there is something for everyone. I always come away having learnt something new!

MOTAT is an amazing place to take the family. It's so much more than you would expect!

We all know it, always have fun when we go there. Thumbs up.

Great way to spend a day!

Always something new on display here and a wonderful way to discover and learn.

Kids get to see and do lots of fun and educational stuff

MOTAT is brilliant! There's always something new here. I've zoomed around in the simulator, played free arcade games (during the computer game display), moved the robotic hand all over, tried to generate as much power as a solar panel, walked on stilts, read weird facts about peanut butter, learned about lifestyles during the war, seen how types of engines work - and never even made it to the aircraft display. If you haven't been yet, MOTAT is a must-see and if you have been, it's probably worth another trip. I've been about 6 times now!

Lots of things to see and do.
