The former owner of New Flavour has done it again! Mr Zhou has bought his rustic dumplings and scrumptious shredded potato salad to the west. Mr Zhou’s Dumplings still has the menu that comforts us, with fresh tasting dumplings, hand made noodles and classic mains all cooked in an open kitchen so you can see the chefs at work.

Great for both takeaway and dine in, this place is sure to be bustling all week round, as there is no need for West Aucklanders to track into the city anymore when those cravings for dumplings hit!

I have a friend that can’t go drive past Mr Zhou’s Dumplings in New Lynn without stopping - so good is this west Auckland dumpling joint. Created by the same owner who brought the legendary New Flavour Dumplings to Dominion Rd, Mr Zhou’s is already the stuff of New Lynn legend. It’s always busy so go early to get a table.

    In my stomping ground and on my regular restaurant hit list, Mr Zhou's Dumplings is the best joint in the west for stuffing my belly full of delicious dumplings. There's no schelpping into town anymore to get my fill of one of one of Auckland's most legendary street food experiences. Blink and you might miss the former owner of New Flavour's suburban establishment. It's located in an unassuming strip of shops as you head out of New Lynn towards Kelston and you'll struggle to find a park on the street mainly because it's always heaving with regulars. When I need a real fix, these dumplings always satisfy my cravings. I'm already planning my next visit!

      I can't recommend this eatery highly enough. The best dumplings... ever! An amazing menu selection and all 5 dishes we ordered were excellent. I now know why it is extremely hard to get a table on the weekend. We went on a Wednesday and it ws very buys. Highly recommend to everyone.

        The most delicious dumplings... ever! Great choice of food, great service and we couldn't fault a single thing. Complimentary chinese tea just topped it off. Highly recommend

Having sold New Flavour a while back Mr Zhou is turning his attention to what he does best: delicious, fresh, rustic dumplings. Load up on the vinegar, soy and chili and prepare your body for an all out assault on your stomach's capacity for gorging. Try the potato salad, the hand made noodles and stick around - you can watch it all being cooked in front of you!
