First off, thanks to my trusty iPhone and Localist app I found this place in the nick of time! I had to find a cake for a colleague's surprise birthday celebration, super quick, on Friday morning. I originally had a cake reserved at Gateau house in Newmarket but I'm really glad I made the effort to check this place out - a much bigger, much heartier NZ-style baked cake for a good 20% lower price. And they did icing writing on it for free, which was amazing! $27.50 for a 20" cake isn't too bad at all and it was absolutely delicious (banana cake with cream cheese icing). Nice!
