North Harbour Preschool

My daughter attended from age 1 to 5 and loved her time there. The staff are friendly, approachable and very caring. What I loved too was their ability to make their care of her very individual and activities often followed her interests at the time. As I work part-time their ability to be flexible with her hours was fantastic.

We have been happy with this care and attention given to the children right from the start.  They have been really flexible on days and hours for me which has been fantastic as this has allowed me to go back to work as a relief teacher.  Highly recommended for parents who wish to go back to work but thier days and hours are variable.  Staff work co-hesively and show a real love for pre-school children

With very concerning childcare experiences for my older children it was extremely difficult to choose a centre for my then baby and I spend months before and after the birth of my new baby finding the RIGHT centre. I needed for my child first of all to feel loved, safe and cared for and I can honestly say I found the PERFECT place! My baby grew up to be a very confident and happy four year old with lots of friends and I can not remember if she cried even once to be dropped off. The centre is HER BUSINESS and this is where her friends and teachers are waiting for her to play and have fun each day. The environment is warm and friendly with plenty of space for children to learn through play and their portfolios are being kept up to date with lovely photos to ensure us parents know exactly what they have been up to. My daughter eats healthy meals prepared by a very dedicated chef and we love to hear her sing so many songs in both English and Maori. She does drawing and creative story writing each day, can write her name and count to 100! You won't find a happier mum then myself as my daughter loves going to North Harbour Preschool each day! Amazing staff , friendly and nurturing environment; North Harbour Preschool is a great learning community for children as well as their families. They provide quality early childhood education that will benefit your children in their future schooling.

Before my daughter started at North Harbour Pre School, she was very shy and reserved. Since she has been here, she has developed great confidence, increased her vocabulary and has gained alot of great knowledge. She is now learning to read and write, has gained alot of self-help and self-care skills,  all ready for school. She is very well cared for and gets a lot of affection from the fantastic teachers working there. I am so very happy and impressed and my daughter is very happy to attend everyday and comes home even raving about her pre school.She loves it here. I would higly recommend sending your children here.

The centre provides a great environment for children. They have an excellent team of teachers to take care of your child and provide lots of interesting activities to allow children to experience and learn from. All children have nutritous meals provided. I believe that your child will be very happy here!!! I strongly recommend that you envole your child here.  

At North Harbour Preschool we provide a loving and caring enviroment for the children in a homely and comforting home from home. We provide home cooked meals and a wide range of activities for the different age groups. We have qualified teachers and take care of children from babies through to school age. And offer our transition to school programme for the 3 to 5 year olds. We pride ourselves in having a low child to teacher ratio so that the children have our full attention through out their busy day with us.

I always love popping in to the North Harbour Preschool. The children are always so happy there and it's a pleasure to see. The centre has a homely and comforting feel about it - a real home from home for the children. You really should give them a call and take a look for yourself - wonderful.
