Oakley Garden is a private garden which can be accessed by appointment or during the Taranaki Garden Festival. Featuring a number of planted garden rooms which are surrounded by colourful hedge-lined paths, the gardens are owned by trained horticulturist and landscape designer Jenny Oakley and husband Guy.

Boasting a number of unique features including brick walls, pillars and many attractive hanging baskets which are dotted around the different garden areas, entry costs $4 per person with complimentary tea or coffee provided.

I think of this place as the garden of hanging baskets, it’s filled with them! Oakley Garden has a cottage style feel to it and would be a lovely place to have afternoon tea outdoors! This garden is open only by appointment or during the annual Taranaki Garden festival and only costs a small fee of $4 for adults.
