Onepoto Domain is a sizeable park located on the North Shore. The park has lots to keep the family entertained for a few hours with a playground, picnic spots, a pond for remote-control boats, cycling and walking tracks and sports fields. There has been some new architecture installed with the stylish public toilets and clever walkway definitely adding interest to the park
The mangrove swamp nearby also makes for some great wading if you're keen to get in amongst the mud, otherwise you can get in some walking, running or cycling on the many paths available or bring the dog for some exercise.

The Onepoto Domain has something for everyone. There is a fabulous kids playground with a large tube slide, flying fox and tracks for those learning to ride bikes. There are numerous walkways and plenty of hungry ducks to feed. The domain also has sports fields and pond popular with those who enjoy racing miniature boats. With plenty of parking and an ice cream truck parked up on sunnier days, its a great place to take the family.
