One of the most iconic and beautiful places in the country, the Pacific Coast Highway winds it's way around the spectacular east coast of New Zealand’s North Island. Perfect for a road trip, this stretch of road between Auckland and Napier showcases everything that we have to offer.

From passing the Gannet Colony at Cape Kidnappers, White Island, a live offshore volcano, the art deco capital of New Zealand in Napier or experiencing the thermal wonders of Hot Water Beach, the Pacific Coast Highway gives an excellent taste of what this country is all about, and shows you some of the best bits in a picturesque trip.

The full trip takes around 6 days starting from Auckland and leading to Napier along a signposted route but can be adjusted to take longer or shorter amounts of time depending on what suits you, but no matter how long you spend on the road, you're sure to find your breath taken away by the stunning sights of the East Coast

This is such beautiful drive and you get to cram in all the amazing things New Zealand has to offer. Culture, nature, great food, great sights - the Pacific Coast Highway has it all in one drive. I'd recommend taking longer than the recommended 6 days just so you have time to soak in the atmosphere of all the places you pass.
