Palmers Gardenworld Remuera

Great play area for kids, cafe is good and staff warm and friendly.

As spring approaches it was time to get planting, so I went on a mission to Plant Barn, but my GPS took me right past Palmers so I came here instead. Great service when I couldn't find what I was after and they had everything I needed. Even ran into some friends and devoured some salmon pie quiche at the on site cafe while we caught up which was a pleasant surprise. I ended up getting plenty of things for the garden and will be back again as summer arrives.

This is a great place to meet a friend to buy your plants and enjoy a coffee. The centre is always colourful with seasonal plants. The layout is clever, a wide variety of well cared for plants. If you want something special, you'll usually find it here, or they will order it for you. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. This is a little piece of spring paradise at the moment, enjoy for yourself.

I love this place because inside they have all the pots and plants, flowers and seeds plus some cute gift ideas.  Then you head through the doors out to the outside section full of trees, shrubs, bushes, plants, pots and water features all along the meandering paths.  This is one of  Auckland's oldest and best plant nurseries and my pick for buying fruit trees and some specialist trees.  The staff really know their stuff here and love to share their knowledge. After wandering through the trees and shrubs take a break in their great cafe.  Open 364 days a year and never charge a public holiday surcharge, it is an excellent choice for brunch or afternoon tea.   What's more they won the N.Z. HERALD Garden Centre Cafe 2011!   So grab Granny and pop out to Palmers garden world for a meander and brunch.  She will love it.

Great place to come on the weekend and get a few ideas. It’s particularly nice to take a walk through the fruit trees and garden ornaments. The staff know there stuff and between them can solve virtually anything challenging your green thumbs!
