Authentic and yummy!

I love the homemade pizzas from papa's. awesome selection including gluten free and vegetarian. Best spot for a cool date night

A Kingsland legend for almost twenty years, Papa’s Pizza is a favourite for date night or in a big group. They have Kokako coffee as well as a great wine list and Italian beer Peroni on tap. They make their special recipe wholemeal pizza dough fresh every day and when in season, grow their own herbs to use in their homemade pizza sauce and pasta recipes.

What a quaint little pizza joint! I loved arriving and getting walked through the "kitchen" to a nice lil booth upstairs. I was with a girlfriend and we were off to see a movie afterwards. I let the waitress know this and she was more than happy to give the kitchen a hurry up. We shared a pizza and a glass of italian wine that was recommended and was fab! Great central location for dinner before the movies and heaps of free parking. It wasnt the cheapest but definitely worth it and I will be going back to sample more of the menu.

We love this place. The pizza is wonderful and so is the garlic bread. Nice atmosphere too, with a fireplace. Moderately priced and right next to Eden Park :)

We came in here on a weekend day and ate in. It's a nice small and intimate place with tables in the back. The service was extremely friendly and we were impressed with the pestarian pizza and feta bombs. We will definitely be coming back!

We were looking for a snack before the movies and stumbled upon this neat little place on a corner in Sandringham we will be back.

I do love the people here and dont want to say any negative things about the food or service. But its the pricey pizza place. Great apart from that…

Ok thanks. How pricey? What did you pay?

Really enjoyable place to eat, with plenty of seating upstairs. There are quite a large number of pizza and pasta dishes that you can choose from. The service is great but we did have to wait awhile for our food to arrive, but it was worth it in the end. The toilets here are a bit old school, as the restaurant is basically an old converted house.

I've been going to Papa's for ages now and it's always been reliable, if not spectacular. The vegetarian pizzas are good and the garlic pizza bread is good if you've got a few more mouths to feed but don't want to add too much to the price. I usually take away, but should probably take the opportunity to dine in more often.
