An Auckland Regional Park , Ambury Park is 10 minutes away from Auckland International Airport and a 20-30 minute drive to downtown Auckland . Pays to book in advance , vehicle must be fully self serviced .[Mangere Bridge township has a super market and cafes etc .... very nice ].

Head to Ambury Road Mangere . The entrance to the park is at the intersection of Ambury Park Road and Muir Road Mangere postal zone 2202 .

This is a publiclly owned park , the camping area is well sign posted , the actual parking area for over night camping is in the old stock yard area . Very clean and tidy .

There is a two night restriction and a maximum number of vehicles that can stay at one time the number of vehicles is 5 .

This is a campervan and motorhome camping ground . There is a dump station for the dumping of stored grey water from campervans and motorhomes and public toilets available . The water that is available must be boiled before using .

There is a small charge for staying over night .
