This park is nice and wild next to a beach which is even more so .On leaving Waipu and heading North look for the big stopping bay on the left hand side of the highway ,This layby or or stopping area makes the right hand turn into Bream Bay Reserve easier and safer .
No dogs , toilets available , cold showers , isolated parking spaces at slightly off peak times . The park closes for arrival bookings about five and the person in the ticket office arrives 8-9am .Vehicles can leave early via an automatic opening gate .
