Parked up at a beach on the way to Dickson Holiday Park just North of Thames . Parking and sleeping Auckland localist .

Parked up having a cup of tea brewed by a beach just North of Thames . Dickson Holiday Park just North of Thames on the right hand side of the highway . Doesn't have a sea view but has a great bush environment . Sheltered with all facilities needed . Unpowered sites as little as $19.00 per night one camper . Free wifi. Very friendly and one of my favourite camp grounds . www.dicksonpark.co.nz  located at Victoria Road Thames .At the Northern end of the town . View the photographs supplied with this article . The park is a great place to stay if you are starting your Coromandel "Roadie" or heading to Kaurenga Valley  the Pinnicales walk  or just needing a game of golf . This is one of my favourite camp grounds . {there is no highway noise or vehicles passing on a highway]. www.dicksonpark.co.nz
