Stewart Island is a camping haven but there are no campervans on the Island Parking and sleeping

Stewart Island is accessible from Invercargill usually by boat [ferry] or aeroplane . Camper van travellers have to leave their vehicles in Invercargill or at a place called Bluff . It is on the nature trail walk way ........../ PORT WILLIAM camp ground is on the  Rakiura Track is in the Raikura National Park Stewart Island phone 03 219 0009 a small nightly fee [varies] toilets and drinking water on site . ....../ SAWDUST BAY Rakiura National Park Stewart Island GPS 46.898981S 168.0333686E is also on the nature reserve . Food and essentials can be double the price on the island so go well supplied . The camp grounds could have huts but are mainly for camping . All three parks are easily accessible by foot .
