Tonite I am parked at the Whakanewha Regional Park Rocky Bay Waiheke Island . Its in Gordons Road , a bit far from the action of Oneroa or Onetangi but it is quite and bird filled . Don't tread on the birds nests on the sand banks .
I have just spent the day on Little Palm Beach [clothing optional] and am preparing a BBQ on the BBQ supplied . Nice and clean .The toilets etc are clean and tidy thanks to the service staff who live near the site .
Entry to the parking and sleeping area is via a numbered security system available by phoning the Regional Parks Office and booking . Cost is about ten bucks for an adult for a nite and five bucks for a child .
So get out there enjoy the country side and park and sleep .
