Parrs Park has plenty to do for everyone and is a popular spot for West Auckland locals keen to get in some running, walking or sports on the field. There's also a great new playground, cricket nets, skateboarding ramp, basketball court and an artificial turf.

Across the road and along to 474 West Coast Road, is Nola’s Orchard where you can buy fresh strawberry icecream in summer as well.

This is my kids' favourite park in West Auckland. They're pre-schoolers but its really popular with school kids too. The curvy slide is heaps of fun and there's a huge variety of other play structures. I can sit peacefully for ages while they play and it's fun to join in too. The cafe/bakery across the road next to the fruit shop is cheap and does great kids fluffies, the sandwiches are pretty good too.

    Great park to take the family out on a sports day as it's quite big, there's a playground for the kids & they usually have events held at the park
