Just had the Manuka Honey one. It’s brilliant! Smooth and soooo tasty icing. Only thing that stops me buying the whole lot is the $5 price tag per piece.

    A lot of cupcake businesses have sprung up in recent years, but where others overwork their cupcakes with complicated flavours and toppings, Petal keeps it simple and their cupcakes are amazing. I highly recommend the Strawberry and Red Velvet but all the flavours are tasty and delicious.

        I dont want to seem critical about such a yummy, cute thing...but the price always seems to steep until your eating them....so so so delicious. The cupcakes are all the same vanilla flavor...the icing is the intensely flavored part.....recommend if you like Cupcakes. But pricey treat ....

          The cupcakes here at Petal Cupcakes are so delicious. I'm not a fan of sweet stuff, and find a lot of cakes quite overly sweet, but these cupcakes are just right. And the icing on it is divine! Love the flavours - favourite so far is mango flavour.  Also love the box that it comes in, so unique and one of a kind. Can't wait til the next time I'm in Newmarket to try the other flavours.

            These have to be the best cupcakes you can get in Auckland. The cakes are so soft and sweet and the icing is perfect - not too overwhelming. Each cake is iced perfectly and while they dont have the hugest variety of flavours - those they have a great. No crazy varities to be found!

              Lovely cupcakes and a great selection. The only disappointment when I popped into the Ponsonby store was that the eftpos machine wasn't working and the young man at the counter really didn't handle the situation very well (flustered yet unapologetic). BEautiful treats, though!

                I walk past Petal Cupcakes most days, yet one day I simply couldn't resist myself. They're all so nicely presented, with lots of interesting flavours to try. They make really nice gifts as well.
