Peter Rayner has recently re-opened his Crown Lynn and collectibles shop in Thames after a period of closure. Open on Friday and Saturdays, you can find a range of vintage items instore including books, comics, china, ceramics, kiwiana gifts, retro toys, souvenirs and knick-knacks.
He also stocks a unique collection of NZ made Crown Lynn pottery which was a common household feature in the 1960's but has now become popular with collectors.
It's a great place to browse after a morning at the market and pick up a great gift or a classic piece that will add a touch of charm to your home.

If you love Crown Lynn – the ultimate in retro Kiwi kitchenware – you can’t go past 756 Pollen St. Peter Rayner runs this wee shop which is only open on Friday afternoons and Saturdays between 8.30am and 1pm. I love poking around in here. It’s one of those places where you can’t stop yourself saying ‘oh, we used to eat off those in the 1970s’.
