Best hostel in Auckland, perhaps NZ. Friendly atmosphere and like a home away from home. Very clean facilities, warm in the winter with the open fire and central heating. Great host and staff. Excellent location very private and sunny. Free Wifi.

    recently stayed at this back packers, hostel type location and had soo much fun, so much interaction with the owner and others staying there, minimal walk to the beach with enough privacy to get away from the crowds. very secluded and a little gem to those who know it is there. the owner (Jeff) is a right laugh and always makes you feel welcome. great experience and they can look forward to having me again next summer.
