Awesome service

Plum knows good coffee. It was my go-to coffee haunt during my four years in the capital, for two reasons. The coffee was great and the barista was cute. Amazing fair trade coffee served with a smile puts you at the top of my coffee radar, something which is hard to do in a city full of good coffee and great people. What's also great about Plum is that they offer up a full dining experience, robust with delicious feasts and choice treats. So after you've spent the most of your afternoon debating the politics of something not-so-political with your uni lads over strong brewed espressos, you can meet your parents for a shmancy dinner involving generous servings of wine, good food and laughter.

It has internet and some nice food

Came in on a hot steaming day - greater with a smile and " mate you need a water" - man did I -) Here to meet owner, they did not know - it did not matter as I was a customer and they wanted to be helpful. Great experience.

After a big night, a big glass of Plum Cafe’s house made lemon, honey and ginger will go down a real treat! Feel better with every sip!

The price of a cup of the really quite good coffee will get you access to their solid, reliable WiFi. Great for lunch time email thrashing.

If you squint, the seating arrangement could basically be that of a Victorian era orphanage mess hall. Which I think is what the kinds are into these days, right? (The coffee is good too and the service is always speedy. Also, Wifi!)

Always a favourite!

Plum Café is another of the spots I like to get to when in Wellington. It’s a great spot to grab a seat outside and watch the non-stop action of Cuba St. The coffee is always good and the food is pleasant. Pictured is the bread with dips, a tasty little in between meals snack. Great little spot if you’re looking to get a coffee on Cuba St.

Plum is an ever evolving Cuba St classic. Once a mere cafe, now with a cool patio next to the iconic bucket fountain and even craft beer on tap. Cool and friendly staff make this a favourite
